Halvor Gaasrud is the founder of Asker Aviation. He has been a pilot since 1981 and is today flying for a corporate flight department based in the Northeast USA. He holds an ATP and has accumulated 14,000+ hours of flight experience on jet aircrafts, turbo props, seaplanes, and many other regular small aircrafts. Some of the aircrafts are: Global Express, Falcon 900, Citation X, Citation VII and Citation V, Cessna 180 (wheel and floats), C-185 (wheel and floats), C-206 (wheel and floats), C-208, Caravan (wheel and floats), Piper Navajo, Cessna Conquest, Beech Baron, Thunder Mustang, Voltee BT-13, Husky (wheel and floats), and Cubs (wheel and floats), Robins R-22, and Bell 206 helicopter.
Part of why Asker Aviation is in existence today is because Halvor helped a friend managing his aircrafts. As helping with the sale of no longer used items, the idea of a website came about.
